Description
FoldMark helps you plan fold-based structures before you cut stock. It is built for packaging mockups, paper enclosures, sleeves, labels, envelopes, and small boxes where crease count, overlap, closure type, and material behavior matter. Instead of guessing how a layout might behave, you enter your sheet and fold parameters and get comparable numbers side by side for different concepts. You define each plan with sheet width and height, fold count, crease depth, material stiffness, corner pressure, overlap amount, load direction, and closure style. The app computes five readouts: Fold Strength, Crease Accuracy, Closure Fit, Tear Risk, and a combined Structure Grade. You can see how changes to folds, overlap, or closure affect fit and risk without leaving the workbench. The crease workbench provides sliders, a stepper, segmented and wheel pickers, and a live canvas preview of crease lines so inputs stay visual rather than like a plain form. Validation catches empty names, invalid dimensions, and unsafe fold counts according to a sensitivity level you set. The readout screen summarizes strength-style meters, a bend preview, and a tear-risk ribbon so you can scan results quickly. You can save a plan to the device, open it again later, edit or delete it, reset the current layout, or share a text summary of the structure readout. The archive stores your saved plans with search and filtering by closure style. Strip-style layout makes it easy to spot plans and open them for editing or results. Analytics charts show strength over time, tear risk across plans, and how closure style relates to average closure fit, plus summary figures such as strongest plan, riskiest plan, averages, and total plan count. Settings let you set default material stiffness, a preferred closure style, and safety sensitivity for fold-count limits. You can reset all saved data from the device when you need a clean slate. Everything runs on your iPhone. Plans and settings are stored locally; there is no sign-in and no cloud dependency for the core workflow.
