Liturgical Calendar helps you live the rhythm of the Church year. For every day it shows what the liturgy celebrates, the readings heard at Holy Mass and the saints remembered that day. The app is available in English and Polish (switch in Settings). It follows the liturgical calendar of the Catholic Church in Poland. Inside the app: • TODAY – the liturgical day and its rank (solemnity, feast, memorial), the season, the liturgical colour, the week of the season and the Sunday and weekday cycles. • GOSPEL AND PSALM – the full Gospel of the day and the responsorial psalm, in English from the Douay-Rheims Bible and in Polish from the Bible of Jakub Wujek (1923 edition). Enlarge the text or share it. • FASTING AND ABSTINENCE – a reminder of the days of penance according to the rules of the Church in Poland. • SAINTS OF THE DAY – patrons from a catalogue of about 3,000 saints and blesseds, with a picture and their years. One tap opens the full biography (in Polish) in the companion app Wszyscy Święci (All Saints). • CALENDAR – a clear month grid in the colours of the liturgical vestments. Tap any day to see its liturgy and swipe between days. • LITURGICAL YEAR – the seasons of the Church year, the key dates (Ash Wednesday, Easter, Pentecost, the First Sunday of Advent) and upcoming feasts. • WIDGET – the liturgical day and its colour on your iPhone home screen. • ANY YEAR – the calendar is computed in the app for any year, so it also works offline. The Bible texts come from the Douay-Rheims Bible (Challoner revision) and the Jakub Wujek Bible (1923 edition), both in the public domain. The reading references follow the Lectionary. The app is free and shows ads, which support its further development.
