That is the whole app. WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM Lean uses your stats — height, age, sex, activity level, current body composition — and applies standard sports science: Mifflin-St Jeor for metabolic rate, a moderate 20% deficit for sustainable fat loss, and 2.0g of protein per kg of lean body mass to protect muscle while you cut. The weekly training rotation pairs resistance work with zone-2 cardio, because strength training is the single most effective way to make your BFP fall faster than weight alone. If your trend flattens for two weeks, Lean adjusts your deficit. If you're losing too fast, it pulls back. The coaching is deterministic and transparent — no black-box AI, no mystery algorithm. TRACKING YOUR TREND Log your body fat percentage manually, or let Lean pull it automatically from Apple Health every time you open the app. Your trend displays as a single chart with your goal overlaid.
