Org Social is a decentralized social network where every user hosts their own feed as a plain-text Org Mode file. No corporate server, no algorithm, no ads: just your thoughts in an open format anyone can read and edit. - Follow anyone whose social.org is reachable over HTTP - Write posts, replies, reactions, boosts, quote-boosts and polls - Mention other users with an inline @username autocomplete - Discover new feeds via the public Org Social Relay - Browse topical groups and get notified of mentions, reactions and replies Your social.org file follows the Org Social protocol: an Org Mode document with a `* Posts` section and one heading per entry. Any text editor can read or edit it. Any other Org Social client, including the Emacs reference client, can follow you. You own your data. No analytics. No tracking. No account on our servers. The app talks to the host you configure and the relay you choose. The PrivacyInfo manifest declares only the UserDefaults API, nothing else. GETTING STARTED You need a place to host your social.org. The first-run flow walks you through creating an account on host.org-social.org in a few taps. If you already have a feed, on your own server, a git forge raw file, or a vfile host, you can paste its URL plus upload credentials in Settings and skip signup. Open. Plain text. Yours.
