Description
StayCount Resident counts the days you spend in each country for tax-residency and travel-compliance purposes — directly from the boarding passes you already have. Three ways to record a flight: • Scan a paper or digital boarding pass with the camera. The IATA barcode is read on-device and the flight is logged in seconds. • Share a pass from Apple Wallet directly into the app. Tap your boarding pass in Wallet, choose Share Pass → StayCount Resident, and you're done. • Add flights manually for trips where no boarding pass exists. Day counting that matches the real rules: • Each international flight opens a stay in the destination country and closes the previous one. • The departure day is counted in the country you flew out of, so the day totals always add up to your elapsed calendar days — no double-counting, no missing days. • Domestic flights are kept on the timeline as evidence but never inflate your country totals. Multi-year tracking, your way: • Configure your tracking-year start date in Settings — January 1, April 6 (UK), July 1 (Australia), or any custom day. • Browse the current year and every previous tracking period from the home screen, with per-period flight counts and storage size. • Generate a multi-page PDF compliance report for any period, with per-country totals, a chronological timeline, and embedded boarding-pass evidence. • Archive a previous period to PDF before deleting it, in one guided flow. Privacy by design: • Every record stays either on your device or in your private iCloud account — synced through Apple's CloudKit so the developer cannot see, query, or export anything. • No analytics, no tracking SDKs, no advertising, no third-party servers. • The app validates that imported boarding passes belong to you (by matching your name) and rejects passes for other passengers at import. Built for international workers, frequent travellers, digital nomads, and anyone with multi-jurisdiction tax obligations. StayCount Resident does the day arithmetic so you don't have to — but it's a record-keeping tool, not tax advice. Always check the specific rules of your jurisdiction with a qualified advisor.
